1. Claim your Nook

  1. Go to app.trynook.ai/signup and create your login.
  2. Pick your shop type. Nook uses your trade's words from then on — chairs and stylists, bays and techs, mats and instructors. You can change any term under Settings → Business.
  3. Choose your web address: yourshop.trynook.ai. It's live immediately.
Your 14-day trial starts now with every feature on. No card needed.

2. Add what you offer

Settings → Services & prices. For each service: name, how long it takes, price, and who performs it. Group services into categories (they show as headings on your booking page), mark a price as "from" when it varies, and add a cleanup buffer if you need a few minutes between clients. See the booking page guide for the finer points.

3. Hours and team

Settings → Team & hours. Set each person's working days and hours, add holidays and special hours, and invite logins: a co-manager (spouse or business partner), managers and staff. Who can do what →

4. Your phone number

Settings → Phone & texting. Bring your existing number or pick a local one. Texts and calls land in your shared inbox. Details and timelines →

5. Put the link everywhere

Settings → Booking page & widget gives you the link, a one-line snippet for your website, and the steps for your own domain. Drop the link in your Instagram bio, your Google Business Profile, your email signature and your voicemail greeting.

6. Turn on the money

Payments → Connect Stripe to send Text-to-Pay links, take deposits and protect against no-shows. Taking Venmo, Cash App or cash instead? Record those too so client history stays complete. Stripe guide → · Venmo, Cash App, Zelle & cash →
